Had a problem with my sliding balcony door getting jammed because of something stuck in the track, so it wouldn’t close all the way. After trying (and failing) to fix it on my own for over an hour, I hopped on google and found Door On The Go. Norm, was amazing and saved our moving day from becoming a disaster! Moving day we discovered that the our couch would not go out the front door, or sliding door. We called Door On The Go and spoke with Norm, and sent him a picture of the door as requested.

Tony responded to my inquire as soon as i contacted door on the go on May 3 2022. He discussed options as to the fix, he video called me to walk through how to measure correctly. Tony then sent snap shots of options and the fix and i verified which one i wanted. Tony then arranged to come on May 4 2022 to do the fix.

I was in need of a locksmith one day and I happened to catch the truck driving by my home. I quickly called them and not only did they come right away but when they realized that the tool they needed was at a job site, they left my home, drove to the site and drove back to do the job.
Originally hard to get appointment with Tony, I guess with good reason given all the good reviews. These guys are the real deal. I called Tony on Sunday, he gave me an instant quote (fixed price for door repair) they came 2 days later and in just under a few hours completely removed and re-installed two doors that were poorly installed by the previous owners. Doors work perfectly now and after a fresh coat of paint will look like new. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for very reliable and efficient work.

Had a great experience with Door on the Go! Called them as I needed to fix my basement side entrance door, and the gentleman on the phone gave me a quote and had someone come by my place within a couple of hours. It wasn’t even an urgent fix but they made sure to get it done as soon as possible. Norman came by and got the job done in a timely manner providing great communication as well. He fixed the door within an hour and also educated us what the faults were, what caused the malfunction to occur, and steps we can take to avoid this happening again. I don’t normally write reviews. We had Doors On The Go custom make 2 new sliding screen doors. The doors and installation were done to perfection.
However 1 problem arose, that the new screen doors had a different locking mechanism and couldn’t lock. We have a cat and this posed a safety issue. Tony was fantastic and created a new locking dock for the screen door that works to perfection. I would not hesitate to recommend Doors On The Go for all your household door needs.

Another 5 star review! Tony is quick to respond and knows his doors! I’ve had him in twice now, one for my side door – my daughter slammed the door when the deadlock was out and it seemed like the whole door was bent. It couldn’t close, or lock, so safety was a priority. He was able to fix it where all other companies said they would only replace the entire door and frame. So if you have a damaged door from a break in, or kids, he can fix it!
The other door was a European tilt door, it hasn’t opened for 2 years, and he was able to fix that as well. I have searched for companies to fix this door but they are rare, and again, I was only offered replacement jobs. In and out in 20 minutes, he knows what he is doing.

Someone kicked in the door to my lane-way garage and broke the frame. It’s never easy knowing what the fix is or who to even contact to do the work. We had difficulty finding a company that specifically dealt with pocket door repairs up in the community of Ballantrae. We were very fortunate to find “Door on the Go” and Tony, located in North Toronto, who was willing to come north to help us out. Tony is friendly, professional and prompt. Our problem was complicated in that not only had the pocket door come off its railings/rollers but our door itself had a defect where the top edge had separated from the panel. Tony did a first-class job repairing poorly installed external french-doors (for a balcony). There were a number of problems with the install that he was able to identify immediately and make all necessary corrections (mainly water leaking issues). To this day there has not been a problem with the door and I’m extremely happy with the results. Tony was also very helpful at explaining things that are not common knowledge to the home owner, and provided insight on how to properly care for and operate the door to limit any long-term damage. I will be calling him first for any further work!
Tony was absolutely amazing to work with. We purchased our door from another company and its what’s considered a high security multi point door. After only three years we had a hinge release and had no idea on how to fix it since it was not a standard hinge and the company we purchased it from said they couldn’t help us for at least 6 weeks (I didn’t have a working front door!). I called Tony Monday afternoon, he arrived at my house by Tuesday at lunch. He installed a pocket door in the basement last week and there was a small misunderstanding on where exactly the door should be placed. We noticed that after the work was completed and emailed Tony about that. He came the next day and quickly adjusted the door placement. Tony knows what he is doing and a pleasure to work with. I’m normally not an impulsive person and do a lot of research and get many quotes before I go with a particular contractor. This time, I didn’t and I don’t regret it one bit! I filled out a form on the website with the issues with our door. I got a response that night saying he could come by the next day or the day after. He came by the next day, looked at it and told me to get in touch when I had a new lock for him to install. When I messaged him to say I had it, he said he might not make it that week and I reassured him that it was fine, we were in no rush but the next day, he came by anyway! Tony and Norm did a great job: they realigned the door which had been on an angle, they asked me about the speed for the door to close at behind us, stopped how it used to slam and installed the lock, reassuring me that he didn’t want to know the code or program it (though I could have changed it easily!). While I was waiting for the e-transfer to go through, I told him about another door that lets in a cold draft come winter and he sealed it at no extra charge. While it may be expensive, it’s phenomenal service. They did a lot of extra little things I appreciated: like cleaned up the “mess”, took away the old, broken door closer and trusted that I was trying to send the e-transfer and left before it went through. We’ve had the door fixed since June 20th and it works so well and made us forget the loud slamming front door that we internalized!
